The United Nations has invited Bilie Human Rights Initiative to its Security Council Committee Joint Briefing on Security issues to be held on 14th April 2016 in New York. The invitation was given to only sovereign member States, intergovernmental organizations and NGOs in Consultative Status with the United Nations ECOSOC. Bilie Human Rights Initiative which represents Indigenous People of Biafra in the Federal High Court Owerri in Suit No FHC/OW/CS/192/2013, in the African Union and in the United Nations has been invited to attend the Security Council Committee meeting.
rights of all Indigenous Peoples of the land in all parts of Nigeria. We cannot allow the Fulani Herdsmen to destroy the people and their lands. This is another form of oppression and colonialism. We must resist it. We must not allow them to pass that bill into law.
