The Osun State branch of Christian Association of Nigeria carried out its threat to instruct Christian pupils to appear in their schools in choir robes and other church garments as some students of the Baptist High School, Iwo, appeared in the school in church apparel on Tuesday.

Protesters numbering 2,000 on Wednesday staged a protest in Abuja against the sack of 13 Vice Chancellors of universities and the appointment of new ones to replace them.
PHOTONEWS: Staff weep as VC, Federal University Lokoja vacates office
Some members of staff of the Federal University Lokoja, Kogi state, on Thursday, wept bitterly as their pioneer Vice Chancellor, VC, Professor Abdulmumini Hassan Rafindadi, vacated his office.
This came after he was relieved of the exalted position by the Federal government last week.
Rafindadi is among the 13 Vice Chancellors of Federal Universities sacked by the Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu.
