Mbaka Is Not A True Man Of God, Prophet Nwoko Dissects Mbaka, Declares Support For Biafra

The controversial Popular Enugu-based cleric, Prophet Anthony Nwoko, yesterday slammed fiery Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, insisting he (Mbaka) is not a true man of God. While briefing some Newsmen in Enugu, Nwoko alleged that Mbaka’s reactions to the transfer “shows that he is not spiritually devoted to the work of God.

Mbaka last week lamented over a routine transfer of priests by Bishop Callistus Onaga, which moved him from Christ the King Catholic Parish, GRA, Enugu to St. Mary’s Catholic Church, precisely at the new site of his Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria (AMEN) located at Emene, Iji Nike, Enugu.

Mbaka claimed powerful forces that did not wish him well were behind the transfer, lamenting he now has to sleep in a very small room and had nowhere to keep the property of his Adoration Ministry.

Pastor Nwoko, the head of the Custodian Covenant Messengers, who in the past claimed he had premonition of the reality of the agitations being carried out by the Movement for Actualisation of Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) and the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and other pro-Biafra activities, described Fr. Mbaka, as completely derailing from his calling.

According to him, “the vituperations from Mbaka that his transfer was a punitive measure to him and that he is going to suffer, portrays him [Mbaka] as a carnal priest, who has been overtaken by pleasures of material things.

Prophet Nwoko stressed that “true prophets of God must always be prepared to face the challenges that emanate from serving God” and should be prepared always to emulate Christ by carrying whatever cross that faces them. Nwoko claimed that he was himself suffering and undergoing serious hardship in the ‘wilderness’ just like the prophets of old as written in the Bible, but he never turned around to question God.

He also claimed he has been deploying his spiritual powers to seek divine emancipation of the Igbo race from Nigeria, so that God’s destiny will manifest. He explained that he (Nwoko) met with Fr. Mbaka on two occasions, precisely in 2010 and 2015, to discuss how they could seek divine emancipation for the Igbo race, but Fr. Mbaka on the two instances, turned down his requests, after promising to get back to him on the subject matter.

Commenting on the fate of Mr Nnamdi Kanu, Prophet Nwoko boasted that he can set Mr Kanu free from detention, if only the IPOB and MASSOB leaders could come for spiritual instructions.

He admonished all the critics of the Biafra project including ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo, Alhaji Junaid Mohammed and Bishop Kwakovwe to drop their position that Biafra project is non-issue, because it will eventually materialise.
