Fast Rising Afro-beat sensation Melvin Anthony Ofodu ‘‘Mella” was Born in Jos, Plateau State and hails from Enugu State Nigeria.

He was raised in a suburb in Jos and with a good up-bringing from parents growing up, he has always loved music because his father worked with music equipments and used 2 rent out stereos and loud speakers to customers.

Melvin aka Mella got used to a musically loud environment,playing the likes of the late Fela and Bob marley, also Abba,even local music ,like late cheif Osita Osadebe and so on. He attended St'Murumba Secondary School in Jos, Plateau State,where he found direction in music when he joined the 'music n Drama club.

Re branded under Nuff Space Records,MELLA kicks off the year with this much more anticipated jam titled #GINGER which features the duo and african kings PSQUARE produced by PENZ and #NOTICE ME produced by G-clemp. Mixed and mastered by INDIANA... Enjoy and share,One love!!!
