Jose Mourinho agrees three-year deal to become Manchester United

#

JOSE MOURINHO has agreed a three-year-deal to become the next Manchester United boss, according to reports in Portugal.

The Special One — sacked by Chelsea in December — has been heavily linked with the Old Trafford hotseat he covets so much.

An article on Diarios de Noticias claim the two-time Champions League winner will pocket €20million (£15.75m).

It also claims the only reason Louis van Gaal is still Red Devils boss is because the board would have to shell out €12.5m (£9.8m) to sack him now.

Mourinho has so far kept quiet, but speaking in Singapore, he said: “If I have to return tomorrow, I return tomorrow.

“I always feel that it is better to wait and not to rush. It is better to wait for the right moment and the right move.

“I think starting next season with a new club and project is probably the best for me.

“I read so many different things. One day they say yes and another day they say no.

“One other day they say I’m going to China, another day they say I’m going back to Italy.

“I go to Milan and people say I’m going back to Inter. I’m here and people probably say I’m going to Singapore national team.

“Every day new things are coming but the reality is I have no job and I am happy not to have a job.”
