Gunmen suspected to be Fulanis, have continued to bombard Akwu village in Agatu Local Government Area. According to popular Benue journalist, Yemi Itodo, despite the heavy gunshots, no military or any security presence could be felt.
He revealed that from a distance, a Helicopter could be sighted hovering on the air. More than 200 persons, Itodo said have been killed with many houses razed by the marauders.
