Oshiomole: Return back our Fishery Loans from ECOWAS and our registration fees.

As his government of deceit, propaganda and thievery closes in, it is pertinent to let the Edo people know that farmers have almost hated their beloved profession in Edo state. Under this failed government of Oshiomhole, Agriculture in Edo state is best described as dead and rotten. Nothing can be said or attributed to the government of Oshiomhole in the Agriculture sector. And this is one key area where other sane and proactive government have keyed in to and have used to alleviate the unemployment menace all states in Nigeria are currently baptized in.


While Edo farmers are still wallowing in neglect and unconcern by the Oshiomhole government, the helpless famers (fishermen) and fish farmers were duped by the state government from 2012 till date.
ECOWAS provides soft loans for Fisher men and fish farmers annually with the funding sourced directly from the west African body. In 2013 alone, more than 14,000 farmers were scammed out of their lean resources when It was made mandatory for those seeking the loan to register with a fee of N2,500.

As we speak till date, that money was never disbursed to the poor and helpless farmers. Despite not doing anything to sustain agriculture in his nearly 8years in office, Adams Oshiomhole still out of his sheer hate for his own poor electorates removed money from their pockets and food from their table. How wicked and heartless this act can best be summed.

This ECOWAS fishery loan is an annual loan from the member body and not from the State's treasury. This scam on Edo neglected and abandoned farmers must be sung for all to hear.
