General Overseer of the Hour of Mercy Prayer Ministry, Prophet Muyideen Kasali, a blind prophet, whose past predictions have proved accurate has warned the ruling All Progressives’ Congress (APC), that mismanagement of the electoral success it attained in the 2015 general elections, when it wrested power from the Peoples Democratic Party at the federal level that the party would split into four. Kasali predicted that after becoming too proud and drunk with success, the party would eventually collapse.

He also said 2016 is a year “that the rich would go hungry and the poor would have plenty. Fixed deposit owners would weep most in the history of Nigeria.”

The prophet gave the predictions during the investiture of key officers of the church, including himself, the Assistant General Overseer, pastors, evangelists, deacons and deaconesses as well as the graduation of 200 disciples. The event was presided over by Bishop Joseph Odu of Freewill Baptist Church of Nigeria, Ekiti State, and Provost of Trinity International Theological Seminary, Ekiti State.

Speaking on what 2016 holds for Nigeria and Nigerians, Kasali said: “This year, 2016, would be a year of many political crises. APC would split into four groups, and they would no longer have unity among them. They would be over bloated; too much success would destroy the party.

“Buhari has good plans for Nigeria but he would only achieve only one and half unless we pray seriously for him. I had a dream that houses were gutted by fire this year. Buhari called a meeting on repairing all the refineries, and Nigerians were jubilating but nothing happened in that sector till the year ended.”

Speaking on the Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, the prophet said he must be prayerful so that those around him would not destroy his good name. He added that the minister should earnestly seek God’s wisdom to be able to achieve success in the national assignment given to him.

His words: “I saw many sealed containers, which they said contained equipment for electric power. But when the containers were opened, they only contained torchlight, and candles etc.

“Electric poles would fall and cause fire outbreaks that would gut houses. Without serious prayers, a lot of spoilers would destroy Fashola’s name. He must be careful with those he appoints as his advisers. They would buy one thing many times, but the one that works would be missing. If he is wise, he should ask for the spirit of wisdom from God; if he gets that, he would succeed, but for him not to regret being a minister and being labeled a super thief, he must watch the people around him. The sad thing is that he would not embezzle anything but those around him would do so. Operators in the kingdom of darkness are already working against the ministry which Fashola is heading.”

Prophet Kasali also called for prayers for Vice-President Professor Yemi Osinbajo, saying: “Pray for Nigeria’s Vice-President so that the enemies would not triumph over him. So that he won’t get missing after leaving a meeting. This year 2016, those who arrest people, would be the ones to be arrested. The hunter would become the hunted, those said to be above the law, would collapse under the weight of the law.”

Incidentally, Prophet Kasali predicted the fire that gutted Ibadan plank market and the death of late former President Umaru Yar’Adua, who died in 2010.

At the investiture, Pastor Jacob Gbolawo Adekanye emerged the Assistant General Overseer of the church, while six pastors, seven evangelists, six deaconesses, 200 disciples (73 from Lagos and 127 from Ibadan) also emerged.

The event provided opportunity for the church to offer free medical services to over 500 people, which included testing for HIV/AIDS. In addition, 400 people received eyeglasses.
