ANAMBRA State Governor, Willie Obiano today visited the Mosque in Onitsha which was published by almost all national papers to be attacked and burnt during Pro-Biafran protests yesterday.

The governor also toured the Bridge Head and Nkpor to assess damages done. It was confirmed to be a falsehood by Nigerian papers who do not verify before publishing a story or they are being controlled by the government of Nigeria.


Obiano urged Ndi Anambra to carry on with their daily activities without fear of molestation as sanity has been restored.

He however ignored the 9 Anambra citizens shot dead by the Army when they opened fire on the unarmed protesters camping at the Niger Bridge Tuesday morning.
