Fulani Herdsmen Attack Gombe Village, Kill 1, Burn 40 Houses


Fulani herdsmen yesterday allegedly forced about 200 residents of Polalido-Kandilan village in Billiri local government area of Gombe State to flee their homes for safety.

Our correspondent gathered that the suspected Fulani herdsmen attacked the village at 5pm on Monday in which one person was killed, four injured and 40 houses burnt down.


Speaking to journalists one of the community leaders who pleaded for anonymity said that the village was attacked at 5pm on Monday saying “they injured many people and destroyed farms”.

He said, the corpse of the deceased was deposited at the Biliri General Hospital mortuary.
