The former chairman of Ogun State People Democratic Party (PDP), member of National Executive Council (NEC) of PDP and the ex-chairman of governing council of Yaba College of Technology, Chief Joju Fadairo, has said that the plan by the Buhari administration on selective probing to fight corruption in the country was unjustified.

He said, in Abeokuta, on Wednesday that corruption should be fought across the parties that served under the Jonathan administration, not only PDP. The allegation levelled against some members of the people at the national level should also levelled on the members of APC at the state level, he added.

Joju, also said that President Muhammad Buhari had lost focus on his electioneering promises, because the Nigeria economy was experiencing hard times. He said that “the change we are seeing now is not the type of change good people of Nigeria are clamoring for as there is nothing to show that APC government has the mission and vision to rule the country”. He said the only change we are experiencing now is hike on petrol prices, tremendous increase on our exchange rates as ever, increase in Boko Haram killings and the promises on five thousand naira (N5,000) for the unemployed youth in the country had not been fulfilled.
