The Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja on Wednesday nullified the election of Rt. Hon Abdullahi Bello representing Okene/ Ogori-Magongo Federal constituency, Kogi State in the Federal House of Assembly. Bello was a former Speaker of the Kogi State House Assembly.
Hon. Tijani Damisa had filed an appeal against Bello at the appellate court. The court ruled that fresh election be conducted in the constituency within 90 days. It also barred Bello from participating in the rerun election.
