However we at FNN can authoritatively reveal that, while we may not have all of the facts, we have received a cryptic voice message, allegedly from the Abobaku himself, giving reasons why he ran away from his traditional duties.


In the Short message he said:

"I am sorry. I did not mean to hurt anybody. My Iyawo just gave birth. I can't allow my child grow up fatherless. I signed contract. They didn't tell me I had to die. They said it was a revamped system. I would only be beaten and Carry Oba's coffin. Now I have to die? Iro Nla".



At this point the message ended.
